Finding Ground

in Times of Intensity and Uncertainty

Come sit with others to share, find some ground, and set down a little of what you’ve been carrying.

The past three years of war have affected us in ways that are not always easy to put into words. The division and blame at home, and the misunderstanding and isolation we may encounter abroad, can leave us feeling ungrounded and alone.

Even as we keep functioning, we may feel exhausted, emotionally muted, or disconnected from ourselves and those closest to us. Our relationships, family life and parenting can feel the strain. In an atmosphere of ongoing survival, it can also become harder to access the inner sense of meaning and guidance we usually rely on.

This group offers a space to pause, share what we are experiencing, and find some ground together. Each evening will focus on a theme, opening a space for reflection and honest conversation. To deepen the dialogue with others and within ourselves, we will draw on different forms of sharing, exercises, and elements of Family Constellations.

The group is a process of personal growth and development. Through our encounters with others, we have opportunities to recognize familiar patterns, discover aspects of ourselves that may have remained hidden, and explore new ways of relating and participating in life. At the same time, the group offers support as we navigate the uncertainty and strain of these times. The intention is to reconnect with ourselves and others, and to strengthen our capacity to remain present even when life feels difficult.

Group work also offers the opportunity to build a sense of community through open and authentic communication.

The process is divided into two parts, each consisting of four evening sessions. You can participate in either part on its own or join the full eight-session process. Alongside the planned structure, the process remains open to the themes and questions that emerge through the group dynamic itself.

About Ariel Karmeli

I moved to Israel from Germany 30 years ago with a young family. For the past 20 years, I’ve led personal development groups in Israel and across Europe, alongside my work with individuals and couples in private practice. I value group work for the insight it offers and its unique capacity to reveal aspects of ourselves that emerge only through our encounters with others.
